This pair of machine embroidered gloves are 52 W x 72 H x D 2 cms. The design is based on on Banksia Robur, a banksia tree on the east coast of Australia. Generally they are green but the Australian National Botanic Gardens has a fine maroon leaved variety. Banksia Robur was collected Joseph Banks on his voyage to Australia in the late 1770s and named by Carl Linnaeus Jnr.
