This work is based on a fine specimen of Banksia Robur at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The outline of the dress is based on fashions of the late 1770s in England. It is machine embroidered on soluble fabric, along with silk. It is 105 W x 180 H cms. The entire work is sewn on to a large piece of bridal netting.
